About
Nadine Hamann is a contemporary artist from Berlin, Germany.
Her art is influenced by the mid century modern, the minimalism and
modernism of the Bauhaus Movement and various Popart artists.
Nadine's artwork has a sense of simplicity, calmness and elegance.
„When it comes to visual aesthetics, I prefer minimalism.
My paintings are a place where I contain the buzz of life,
where I can let free the racing thoughts and emotions.
Everything becomes structured in my art. Some things need to be said,
but just plain language is too harsh. I want to gently
raise awareness, inspire, and give thought-provoking impulses.
I usually start with a title, a few words, or a sentence in mind,
coupled with emotions, thoughts, or memories. Only then
do I develope the motif to express what my mind and my heart
want to say. That's why my artworks are always a deliberate message.“
